Abstract

The fundus serves as a critical window into both ocular and systemic health. Timely recognition and interpretation of subtle fundus signs can be the key to early diagnosis and appropriate referral. This session emphasizes the importance of sharpening observational skills to identify characteristic features such as hemorrhages, exudates, vascular anomalies, pigmentary changes, and optic nerve head alterations. Through a case-based approach, we aim to enhance diagnostic accuracy by helping clinicians catch these signs early and "interpret" them correctly within their clinical context. From common presentations to rare but telling fundus findings the discussion will bridge foundational knowledge with real-world relevance.
