Abstract

OCT is an investigative tool now imperative in ophthalmic practice. It is used in retinal diseases, neurological cases and glaucoma as basic investigation. Interpretation of OCT should be known to each and every practicing ophthalmologist. Recent advances like choroidal imaging and OCT angiography has increased the use in retinal practice due to its non invasive nature. Many diseases like AMD, DME and pre perimetric glaucoma can not be managed without OCT. This course is aimed at helping the comprehensive ophthalmologist the nuances of OCT interpretation in a simplified way. At the end of the course the attendee will be able to interpret OCT with confidence at least simple clinical conditions.
