Abstract

This course provides an integrated approach to Congenital ectopia lentis, addressing diagnostic and surgical challenges through the perspective of a pediatric ophthalmologist, glaucoma specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon. It’s important to understand and identify the syndromic associations and ocular complications if left undiagnosed and untreated. This IC aims to highlight the timing of surgical intervention and the importance to coordinate multidisciplinary approach for optimal long term outcomes
