"Pediatric Myopia is poised to be the next global pandemic. There has been a paradigm shift in pediatric myopia management with focus on controlling progressive myopia, enabling practitioners to predict myopia onset more accurately and aiming towards personalized interventions to individual patients. With a focus on both established and emerging treatments, this IC aims to update as well as highlight the growing importance of diagnostics, environmental, pharmacological and optical strategies in myopia management. It also offers a wealth of insights into the latest technological, pharmacological, optical and genetic advancements aimed at tackling myopia progression and mitigating risks. The future of myopia management looks increasingly promising with targeted interventions and ongoing research.
